E-Waste

E-Waste can be taken to the Bordertown and Keith Transfer Stations free of charge. E-Waste includes personal & laptop computers and all cables, tablets, notebooks, palmbooks, computer monitors and parts (eg. internal hard drives and CD drives), computer peripherals and accessories eg. mice, keyboards, web cameras, USB’s, printers, faxes, scanners and multi-functional devices, televisions.

Items that are NOT accepted for processing are detailed below:

  • Video & DVD players
  • Stereos and speakers
  • Electronic games and toys
  • Game consoles
  • Digital and video cameras
  • Drills and other power  tools
  • Microwaves
  • Vacuum cleaners
  • Hairdryers
  • Alarm clocks
  • Toasters and kettles
  • Irons
  • Whitegoods
  • Modems
