1910 Church
First built in 1910 using local stone and labour it was the only church in the town and parishioners of all denominations attended Sunday services together.

The Congregational Church was very strong in the Tatiara, and a humble Congregational chapel was built in the heart of Keith in 1899. In 1910 it was replaced by this very handsome church and manse. The manse was sold in 1954.

The church became the Uniting Church in 1977, and remained in use until 1987 when it was replaced by a new church on the southern outskirts of the town.

The former Congregational Church consists of a well-proportioned limestone church in Gothic style with red brick quoins, and entrance porch and a transverse vestry at the rear. While you are there make sure to check out the stunning leadlight windows created by local residents depicting the history of Keith over the last 100 years.
